Validation of studies undertaken
abroad is a complex task due to the diversity of the world's systems of higher
education. The evaluators and consultants completing credentials evaluations
for CIE are experienced evaluators and have considerable authority with regard
to recognition of educational credentials from the U.S. and abroad.
Their experience in this professional area of expertise is derived from over three decades of working for a major university and significant experience of the Consultant as an administrator in the area of international admissions of students from abroad. They have broad knowledge of issues in international educational exchange and the structure and dynamics of U.S. higher education. They have held significant experience with campus-based international education programs and projects. They each have significant overseas experience. They have the interpersonal and professional skills, and the respect of peers necessary when dealing with diverse clientele. Individual evaluators hold membership in NAFSA (National Association for Foreign Student Affairs: Association of International Educators). The Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) and the Chicago Public School System strongly endorse CIE's expertise and experience. The ISBE has utilized the credentials evaluation services of CIE's consultants for over 20 years. |
